I have a signature recipe that I use to create my “canvas.” I use vanilla royal icing for my “paint.”
I use honey from a local Wheatland, Wyoming beekeeper to help retain moisture and keep the cookies soft longer. The cookies do become hard after a couple weeks but retain their delightful flavor and soften up when “dunked.”
